Along side the gundog training, I also enjoy painting the diverse range of wildlife I encounter on my travels in the countryside. Having been brought up in the country and a having a deep understanding  of the animals and seasons it was a natural progression for me to capture the beauty in the form of watercolour paintings.

 

I have had several articles published in Sporting Gun and the Shooting Gazette showcasing my work.  Specialising in watercolours I am  able to capture the beauty of any subject in the greatest detail, even down to the finest hair and the reflections in the animals eyes.

 

 Much of my recent work has been orientated around dog portraits which have come through recommendations, although I am happy to paint any animal subject.
